At Timeless Decor Prints, we think that a house's true character comes from the tales its furnishings tell. The quest started with a love of textiles and a desire to combine modern living with the diverse tapestry of world cultures. Established by an intrepid textile artist, the collections bear witness to my years of traveling and living throughout the eastern hemisphere (since 2009), spanning from India to Tibet, Indonesia, and Southeast Asia...to Istanbul and Turkey, Greece, Eastern Europe, Ireland and northern Europe, Israel, Palestine, Beirut, Syria, and the Middle East, then up to Central Asia Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Siberian shamanic Buryat and Yakut cultures.
Drawing inspiration from the intricate patterns, colors, and timeless motifs encountered in these places, such as woven yak fur carpets, felted emblems from nomadic ancestors, gold Buddhas, the striations in a mother’s apron dress of Tibet, to the bustling bazaars of Istanbul full of hanging glass lanterns, Iznik tiles, and velvet ikat, temples encrusted with figures and deities dripping in milk and ghee, ordinary plaids and the golden threads of Balinese supplemental warp weaving, Javanese batik and Thai silk.
